WORKSHOPS (Social Practice / Public Pedagogy)

THEORY IS FOR EVERYONE


Theory Is For Everyone (click the hyperlink for more information) is a practice space for collective theorizing and non-instituional learning. Each cohort explores a particular topic through readings, reflection prompts and embodied praxis.


THE OFFLINE SCHOOL


The Offline School (click the hyperlink for more information) is a community-driven space for device-free gatherings and people-led learning, established by writer Megumi Koiawai and social practice artist Leiya Salis. Through each gathering, participants are invited to, for a moment, enter a space of collective exploration, world-building and creative inquiry.

Each gathering is facilitated by different cultural, academic, and community teachers. The Offline School serves to anchor learning and creative spaces in our communities once again, focusing on non-institutionalized and embodied collective learning.
